The bed’s length should be 3,9 inches(or even better will be 5,9 inches) longer than the person’s height. Of course, if the bed will be for the pair you should take in your calculations the height of the taller person. This simple rule will help you to avoid possible future inconveniences.

The bed’s width should be chosen in accordance with the space you need if you plan to sleep with your partner. If you can freely spread out your hands without disturbing anyone it is a good width for you. You can measure this parameter and check it with the variants we provide.

Also, consider left space around the bed, better it to be more than 27 inches. This space will be perfect for the nightstand(or two nightstands) that are a minimal storage amount for the bedroom. Bed height depends mostly on the person’s age and health. For older people, beds-platforms will be a pure struggle. This modern low design looks stylish, but if your knees are weak think twice about this decision.
